Firefox.

The ability to add bookmarks at work and have them auto-appear on my home PC is unique. It's ability to add extensions, and now it's ability to not allow adding of extensions without consent (I'm looking at you Microsoft!) is a big plus in my book.

This allows me to add many privacy features that other browsers don't have. And many of those other browsers also send information about you back to their creators. Firefox doesn't.

Firefox here as well. Pretty much the same reasons as above. It's very user friendly and "programmable" so to speak. I find you can customize it to your needs moreso than the others.

Let the Holy War begin...........

Google Chrome or Firefox, Opera was good in past, now it's worse yet. And yes, IE was made to download Firefox, Chrome or Opera after new Windows install.

This article may help you to make your mind up.

And for the record I didn't know PC's could run Apple's Safari which makes me wonder why most of the mainstream never really heard about it?

Switched to Google a few months ago. Not that much more impressed with it and its actually more glitchy than IE. Think maybe Firefox is in the future.

Like most a person get used to and comfortable with what ever they are using. I went with FF and it is simple, easy and does not want info like Chrome, Google does.
I added Ghostery and the free version of CC Cleaner. A few addons that are easy to add or delete.
They update FF on a regular basis, not like MS attitude of when they get around to it.
Cleans like a dream.

I've been shopping around for a new machine for work. I use Chrome as my browser on my work computer. I have been filling out all sorts of "request for information" dialog boxes and it is kind of spooky to have Chrome fill in all of the fields based on a half word entry on the first line.

I had one built so I can easily upgrade the processor.
Off the shelf was not want i wanted long term.
I prefer a desktop as more speed can be easily added.
