Hello, what is the best, in your opinion, DVD Decoder to download/purchase for Windows Media Player and why?

Don't bother. D/l VLC media player as it has all the major codecs you'll ever need to play movies.
The interface is a bit clunky in some areas but you get used to it.

Yes but for VLC, I've heard and read that it sustains a lot of spyware and I don't want a "chunky" play of DVDs.

I've never had a spyware problem with VLC or playback issues, but that could just be me....

I've been using VLC for more than a year.. no problems
