Your ISP Speed
I thought it might be interesting to see what speeds different peoples internet is using various ISP's and locations across the country.
Everyone use this site, so the results are simular http://www.speed.io/index_en.html
After the text you can get a graphic link of your results.
Location: North Vancouver
ISP: Shaw (extreme)

Location: Oromocto NB
ISP: Rogers (Ultra)

Location: Calgary, AB
ISP: Telus (High Speed)

Someone will have to explain to me what all this means

I have telus highspeed too, but my ping is 54 which makes it shitty

The ping doesn't really make a difference unless you're online gaming. Then it depends where the host server is. The ping rate is the time it takes your computer command to get to that server. If the server is in Europe you ping could be around 250 if it's in North America it' usually under 100 and if you're really lucky and close to the server it may be as low as 25 or so. I'm happy with anything under 100.

Shaw has always had wonderful service, Rogers is ok but not nearly as good.
