The girl was kidnapped about 100 miles from here and she was held in a back yard in Antioch, California - about 50 miles from here. This is probably the biggest story in Northern California right now.
The kid was only 11 when she was kidnapped and she ended up having two daughters with her captor. And I PRAY that I get called to be on that jury.
I've been reading a bit about this and it's very sad and happy at the same time. The sick fucks should be hung but the family get their daughter back.......sort of.
These people will never see the light of day ever again. Guaranteed.
She was 14 or 15 when she got her first child... Sick fucks...
Before they bury these two, for professional reasons, I'd love a few hours interviewing them just to get an insight in what they they were thinking. I keep reading the various reports, and I just shake my head.
Her abductor was on CNN, how he got air-time is beyond me, and said that when the truth comes out it will be a "heartwarming" story in his favour. This guy is gonna be the bitch in prison, and the really sad thing is that he is already on life-long parole for a previous conviction of kidnapping and rape, WTF is wrong with the JUSTICE SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!
Another case for capital punishment.
The radio is saying that the kidnapper, Phillip Garrido, is now a suspect in the multiple slayings of several women in 1990.
This puts him in for the death penalty.
Good. I hope they will be able to convict him.
This is creepy: This is the creep's house on Google Maps.

If you "travel" up and down the street you'll notice the creep was driving the van as the Google camera car passed by. As you move south on the street the van pulls out into the street from the back yard area. The aerial image is pretty awful, too. I've driven past that area so many times over the years it's silly and to think that girl was just a 100 meters or so away just kills me.
