Canadian
Good idea.
Good idea if they want to go out of busines.
I don't want some yappy Chewawa annoying me for the whole fucking flight. Babies are bad enough, but completely understandable given that they have to stay with the parent, and they do tend to settle down once in the air. You'd have to gas the dog to shut it up.

I've been on countless flights with dogs in the cabin and have NEVER even heard a whimper from them. Kids on the other hand scream like..........well screaming kids.
Westjet has always done this, haven't they?

Yup. Actually Air Canada did too up until a year or two ago. Makes me think they've realized a loss in revenue and decided to back track.

God yes! They seriously should have a parent section on flights.

never had that, flown several times with our cat,
he just sits there and looks very pissed off.
Never had any problems with dogs or cats on flights,
just the fucking people.

I used to own a cat that didn't like to be in a cage, not in the car, not at home, it would cry your ears off. NO WAY that I would take that animal anywhere. But, people do, and crying cats in the cabin are worse than kids... Especially on a 9 hour flight. Been there, done that...
Trick is to cover the cage completely - I was driving my brother back to university and his cat whined halfway there until we put a blanket over the carrying case... she was much better after that.

I've taken hundreds of flights........probably more than a thousand and have never heard a cry or a whimper out of any animal onboard. Most times you never knew they were there until you saw the little head poking out of the bag while deplaning.

Yeah my wife does the same to me with a pillow when I snore.
