Thats the shoe he tried to get on the plane, I say if you walk up to security with that on your foot then you have to take it off.
When I walk up with these, 
they can just back the fuck off.

I have had to take off my shoes on many trips. I have had to take of sandles that had a very thin sole.. but I dont have a problem with it, I would prefer they be cautious.. its not over!

I usually wear flipflops going through check and have another pair of shoes in my carry on. I have always had to take my flip flops off, I think it is ridiculous....and it isnt easy to take shoes on and off when you are hopped up on Ativan
