I frankly do believe that Extra-Terrestrials do exist, but I ahve no idea why they'd be interested in us. :?

Earth is one of the following to the Galaxy...

1) A preserve much like the ones we have here on Earth.

2) The Galaxy's hicksville.

Gordon Cooper another NASA great has made similar claims... So what are the chances both are senile?

If aliens are so much more advanced than we are, they would probably just ignore us. To quote The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Earth-mostly harmless. 8)

Aliens and UFOs are two separate things - hiding the fact that there have been UFO sightings is a far cry from hiding actual extraterrestrial contact.

to think that we are the only dominate intelligent spices in the entire vastness of the galaxy is pretty ignorant. There is definitely life out there but whether or not our paths would ever cross is unlikely.

You can't say there "definitely" is life out there without any proof and come across as any less ignorant than someone who says there "definitely" isn't life out there.

There's no real evidence at this point either way, so there's nothing "definite" at this point. We don't know.

I'd at least say it's highly unlikely that we're the only intelligent life in the universe.

I agree with that! Also if they’re smart enough to get here………we’re not smart enough to catch them unless they want to be caught.

I'm not dismissing this outright, but something just doesn't make sense about the UFO/ET connection. Why isn't there ever any truly legtimate tangible evidence regarding Aliens? I understand that a UFO could be truly "unidentified" - perhaps an experimental craft, aerial anomaly, space debris, etc, but why can't someone produce something beyond muddled "eyewitness" accounts from Roswell or a FOX T.V. special?

Again, i'm not rejecting Mitchell's account, but I need more some extraordinary proof for such an extraordinary claim

The Drake Equation.

Maybe the psychological stress of faking a moon landing finally made these guys snap.

How about just proof?

Hard to say. This is an educated professionalstating what he believes is fact.
Personally I would not discount the possability, The universe is too vast for us to believe we are alone.
