The meek don't inherit shit and deserve what happens to them anyway for defaulting control to the worst bullies and psychopaths the human race can generate. That's what happens when the rest of us are raised to "be nice". The ones in charge never seem to have been handicapped on purpose by that particularly ridiculous bit of early-childhood learning.

Once the cold hit, been a pretty normal AB winter so far. Doesn't quite feel like a La-Nina yet, but we still have Jan and Feb to hit those -40 days...
In my 4 years in Calgary, I saw very few -40 days although people talked about them quite frequently. They seem to be fairly rare these days.
