I haven't looked into it yet, but I'm wondering if there is a way to fit in springs strong enough to absorb the impact of a collision without bending the frame if I hit or get hit by something. If some idiot rear ends me at 50 or I hit a moose a 120, all I want to have to deal with is scratched paint.

Oh, that's something else I wanted to do, install provisions for a snorkel attachment. If I paint a nuke symbol on the drivers side door, Canada may just end up with a nuke "sub" (by our definitions
) before the Argies.

Hey I've got a 91 bush truck with a 460, 8000# winch and lift kit I'll sell cheap.
Just bought a $600 Astro van because I can't afford to drive it to the gas station!
Pulled out a one ton bucket truck stuck axle deep in mud up a backroad last month.
Hit a moose with it and it will only be good for soup....
Almost as easy to park as a nuclear submarine too!

Absolutely! Nuclear propulsion is just that, nuclear proplsion. Being a signatory of the non-prolferation treaty, the treaty does not prohibit nuclear propulsion.

Oh I'm still in. I'm rather surprised at them looking at nuclear. It's expensive and suggests that they are looking at long range tactical and strategic projection capabilities. There are very good deisel attack subs out there. Any one going nuclear wants to operate either under the ice or farther away from home.

So then developing nuclear propelled subs implies, even if for defensive reasons, preparations for a fight. As a result implying nuclear propulsion, at least in this case, is not peaceful technology.
