Trudeau Derangement Syndrome taken to its logical conclusion.

I'm surprised the GG's Guards didn't take care of it.
I believe the guards are just ceremonial and actual security is provided by RCMP

The guards are not purely ceremonial, but you are correct that RCMP provide the majority of the security.
The guard are still trained and armed, but the RCMP is the official security.

Just like Trump Derangement Syndrome was taken to it's logical conclusion?
https://www.businessinsider.com/man-arr ... ump-2020-2If the CBC is to be believed the man in question was military, armed and a member of the Canadian Rangers. So, how long till Trudeau has another rush of s**t to the brain and bans all long rifles in the military?

Sounds like he had several weapons. As a ranger the only service weapon he would have access to is a c-19 bolt-action rifle. Sounds like another “responsible private gun owner”
If he was a ranger, then that's probably the C-19. So not at all a "Private Gun Owner".

The Governor General's Foot Guards, Horse Guards, and Grenadier Guards, are all Reserve units, meaning virtually all of their personnel are part-time. AFAIK their duties as they relate to ‘guarding’ the GG are ceremonial and they are otherwise typical Army Reserve units and don’t play any regular or formal role in her security. If you wander onto the GGs residences or try to intercept her at some event you will not encounter any of these troops as they will likely not be present.

Kevin Vickers should be the PM.

Kevin Vickers IS a badass!!! He should have his own reality TV show like the equalizer. Every week he travels around solving peoples problems by fucking up dirtbags and putting them in the morgue or the intensive care unit! They could put it on pay per view. I would pay good money to see lowlife scumbags deserving of a serious asskicking get their just deserts. ![Drink up [B-o]](./images/smilies/drinkup.gif)

Corey Hurren pleads guilty to 8 charges tied to Rideau Hall incident
According to updated court documents, Hurren had a loaded Lakefield Mossberg shotgun, a loaded Grizzly Arms shotgun, a restricted Hi-Standard revolver, a prohibited M14 rifle and a prohibited International Arms break-open pistol with him July 2 when he drove a truck onto the grounds of Rideau Hall and set out on foot toward the prime minister's home at Rideau Cottage.
He admitted Friday to possessing the Hi-Standard revolver, the M14 rifle and the pistol, plus a high-capacity magazine without a licence.
He also pleaded guilty to handling the loaded shotguns in a public place where they could not be discharged.
