Arrest made in JonBenet Ramsey murder
Well, it may be solace to you to know that she was evil anyway, the way she was sending the kid to all those beauty pagents.

I think those pageants are a pedophiles dream come true.
That said, I also think my daughter would think she'd died and gone to heaven if she could get all made up, wear a pretty dress and maybe get to win a sparkly tiara.
You can't really equate being an over-bearing stage-mom with murdering your own child though.
Not equating; mitigating.

Like the OJ case I never paid much attention to this, but it was easy to see that the media was convinced her parents were guilty.
Everyone of these so called journalists and "experts" that spouted their shit over the airwaves and newsprint for years should start lining up at both the graves to prostrate themselves.
The funny thing is, if I destroyed Wullu's life by making these kind of allegations, he could sue me for any dollar amount a jury could put on his damages.
But if I'm with the news media, I can destroy someone's life and pretty much get off scott free. ---It's not like any newspaper or television station is going to ever pay a dime for screwing up like this.

They used to. It all changed in 1961 in the case of Sullivan v. the NYT. Which is why the dirt rags like the National Enquirer et. al. get away with making shit up all the time.

The National Enquirer is hilarious. Their stuff is almost as good as mine.
Apparently they don't have a website, but I did find this....

Don't let calgary123 get his hands on it, he'll believe it all.
There is still legal liability for misrepresentation and libel, but in a case like this, every news station just has to say all the others were putting it out, so they were just reporting what everyone else was saying.
Maybe the guy will be able to go to his grave with some peace of mind.
Funny how he probably never expected that his whole life would be defined by one night. ---As lily says, you play the cards you're dealt.

I think there's a difference with a mother letting daughter play dress up, and a mother who makes "dress up" a lifestyle.
I've got my doubts that by the time its a lifestyle for the kid, that for her its a 'dream come true'
Random thought though

And showing an insane amount of class, John Ramsey said this morning "Based on what happened to us, I don't think it's proper that we speculate" This of course has the added bonus of being a jab at the media for him.
And yeah ladies, beauty pagents for 7 or 8 year olds is real creepy.
How did I know this would be the case.
Maybe they WERE as bad as the media made out? Maybe...
