Didn't Iraq vote to kick all foreign militarys out? I think that pretty much ends it, if they decide to enforce that vote. :(

They voted to kick out the Americans for sure, I think they also suggested other foreign militarizes should be expelled as well but I don't think they were necessarily gunning for the training missions. If the Americans go, they take a lot of the support with them.

What is also unclear is what happens to the other missions we have in Kuwait and Jordan.

The parliament passed a resolution to that effect but it is not binding on the government.

Of course Trump, the ultimate deadbeat who spent a lifetime stiffing suppliers, is threatening sanctions on Iraq if it doesn’t pay for the airport the Yanks built. Couldn’t make it up.
