The kids who actually were involved in the beatings should be charged with a hate crime, due to their utter stupidity
Too bad people can't be charged for stupidity and bad TV viewing habits!

It's a shame

. Don't forget 90% of mainstream music either.
lily lily:
What do you mean.... bad viewing habits?
Just a jab, I'm not a fan of South Park.
Here ya go...
Revamped Video of Eric Cartman's ginger kids speach
I have never heard of this happening before? Is is just a Canadian thing because I haven't heard of this tradition at least in Texas. What a retard thing to hate. I mean, I could think of about 7 other things I would hate before I would consider red heads.
Ah kids will be kids, and Mr C better grow a pair.

I agree the whole thing is totally stupid and those involved should get a good swift kick in the ass. I also have to agree with hwacker.....Mr C had better grow a pair....threatening to carry a knife to school and stab anyone who touches him.....grab a f*cking brain.....you're no better than the rest of them. It'll be YOUR ass in a sling if you do something that stupid!

Bullying of children should never be dismissed. It's a very serious problem.

The kid was sent to hospital.
If someone threatened to beat me up and were stupid enough to give me warning - I'd be prepared too.
You've seen pics of MrC, he's not all that big.
So lily, you advocate the use of deadly weapons to equalize the playing field for smaller people?
Hyack @ Sat Nov 22, 2008 5:54 pm
lily lily:
I certainly don't advocate telling a kid to "grow a pair" when they're being bullied.

Nowhere did Mr C say anything about being bullied, he was afraid to go to school without a knife because he has red hair:

I was forced to stay home on Thursday, because I was prepared to bring a weapon to school, becuase I have red hair, and I was pretty much prepared to stab anyone who touched me.

The attacks came on a day promoted by a Facebook group as Kick a Ginger Day. The Facebook group urged members to kick people with red hair — referred to as ginger kids — on Nov. 20.
The phenomenon appears to be linked to South Park, an animated TV show. An episode of the satirical show that originally aired in 2005 dealt with one character's mindless prejudice against red-haired people.
Where does this show any evidence of bullying?....Facebook???.....an animated TV show??.....Mr C was afraid to go to school without a deadly weapon because of an animated TV show???? As hwacker said....time to grow a pair!
