$1:
Chief telecommunication regulator Zia Ahmed said Sunday that access to the site has been temporarily blocked because it was publishing caricatures that may hurt the religious sentiments of people.

So Bangladesh can no longer access Facebook?

Oh no...

Maybe we should stop buying shit from Bangladesh and teach these twits a lesson... If I took a crap every time someone published a picture of Jesus or made a humourous take on him I would ban half everything in the free world..

News Flash:

God floods Bangladesh, killing tens of thousands.........again.

Freakinoldguy @ Sun May 30, 2010 5:28 pm

Given the fact that Bangladesh is below sea level and underwater about 80 per cent of the time, I'd really be suprised if anyone actually still living there really gives a shit about an image of the Prophet on some machine that they've likely never seen because it requires electricity to operate.

This is just more radical islam by the religous elite trying to ensure they maintain their power in Muslim society.

bootlegga @ Sun May 30, 2010 5:42 pm

Oh no, with Bangladesh being the infrastructural backbone of the Internet, we're all in deep trouble...oh wait!

ShepherdsDog @ Sun May 30, 2010 5:47 pm

 How about we give Bangladeshis PFDs with the image of Mo on them...the next time a flood takes them out(should be any day now), will they boycott those?

Scape @ Sun May 30, 2010 5:55 pm

That's it! I'm banning Bangladesh from my facebook once and for all!
