Canadian
Driving drunk in a stolen vehicle and killed 4 people...and he`s still on the streets? Nice. Welcome to bullshit Canada.
he got it back by fraudulent means.. I knew the family he killed .. this time they should throw away the key...when I read this in the local paper I damn near puked..
Thats what Im saying. They should`ve thrown the key the first time.
Canadian law is the way it is because Canadians believe in restorative justice; the concept that it aids society more to give people a second chance and help making that second chance work rather than just lock everyone away for the rest of their lives. That is not, however, what this article is about, really. I find it very sad that, not only can this level of disorganization exist within an important government organization, but that many within and around the system have been aware of the problem, and nothing has been done to fix it.
i agree with the point that you are making about drunk drivers...but, this confusion of political crap should be investigated. If you kill someone being drunk then the penalty will be twenty years with your attached family paying the bills....i know it will never happen,, but jerks that kill are jerks in jail........
I'm sure if the judge had someone close to him that suffered from drunk driving incedent things would be different in sentencing. What the fuck is the point of making laws of getting 14 yrs firm in jail if it's not applied. Stop making laws that the system won't impliment.
Start voting for judges that are scared of losing their jobs.
Throw out these psycologist that assumes theres hope for repeat offenders.
Eventually there will be an incident where someone will take justice in their own hands and finish the job the judges could do them selves. Who knows , the target maybe them next time.
Someones going to snap.
The Drunk Driver who Killed my Four Year Old cousin 10 Years Ago didn't even serve 6 months..
That's the Justice System!
