My gut says "unnecessary", but maybe thats just me.

I know things are a wee bit different in the United States.

   

He's damn lucky that guy sitting a top the right field bleachers didn't get him with his 50 cal.

   

Need game "how long can you avoid getting tased on the field" I love it!

   

If anyone remembers the attack on Royals First Base Coach Tom Gamboa in Sept 02 they should understand why this twit was tasered.

And for the record, Phillies top cop was right. How did they know the poor little muffin's age matched his IQ?

fan comes from the word fanatic...and you can't tell me that there aren't a shitload of 'fans' out there(of all sports) who aren't certifiable.

   

Not when it comes to baseball, Shep. Part of being a "fan" of baseball is a respect for the game, its history and traditions. Sure, we're certifiable, but a baseaball "fan" would never run on the field. A drunk idiot with a ticket would, but not a baseball fan.

Why not? Think of the next jerk off that has a thought about running on the field, you think he'll do it? Hell no.

You won't just have some fat cop running at you, you'll have a fat cop with 50 thousand volts stuck in your back.

He broke the law, resisted arrest and paid the price. Too bad.
