Oh i'm sure there are. I'm just saying that we should not jump to conclusion and put that in the Republican vs. Democrat 'war'. It may aswell be an anarchist who wants to destroy the symbols of the state.

   

He shot a lot of people, this was not a targeted assassination. It may just be some nut bar like they get down there, shooting a place up, and in this case it happens to involve a politician.

Haven't really heard much about anarchists shooting anybody that I know about. In recent memory, anyway.

   

We don't know it was a targeted assassination. The fact he shot 18, killed 6 of them, doesn't mean she was not his main target...

At any rate, I am glad the public responded by tackling him and now he is arrested. As far as i am concerned, they could have beaten the crap out of him...

So far, it's looks like he was delusional psychotic prone to grand theorizing about conspiracies.

MySpace apparently took his page down already. Some who got a look at it before it went dark are claiming that the only thing on it that was expressly political was some ranting about the Federal Reserve and not having a gold/silver backed currency. As such it looks like this prick is falling into the classic lone-nut category as the only 'philosophy' he has shares a few minor points with the Ron-Paultards. The TeaBirchers appear, at the moment, to be mostly blameless for this particular incident. The Palinites are still scrubbing her Twitter and Facebook accounts clean of any of the quasi-eliminationist rhetoric that she'd been vehemently using over the last two years. This sort of shows to me that they're genuinely worried that they finally went too far with the 'don't retreat, reload' rhetoric that they love using these days, and that one of their 'patriots' slipped his leash to engage in some direct action.

Nah. This is one of "us." I would say he's no more one of me than a jihadi, but then you're just going to turn that around and say that a jihadi is no more one of you than this guy is one of me, so I guess I won't say it.

Seriously tho, that was the first thing a lot of Muslims said when Pim Fortuyn (Dutch politician) was shot to death and it turned out to be a white tree hugging vegan who shot him.

   

According to MSNBC, which is on in the background right now; Gabrielle Giffords is out of surgery and 'coherent'. 5 people dead-including 9 yr old girl as well as Federal Judge.

   

Wonder how long until the apologists show up to explain how the Democrates have brought this on themselves...
