My wife breastfed our children, and I think all women who can should. I think the public needs to ease up and show a little support. I've never seen a mother who breastfeeds do it in a offensive manner.

I don't see the problem of breastfeeding either. I see the problem of blakets and sheets though. What a hassle 
Most of the time you don't even see the difference between a baby just lieing against the mom, or feeding. To go sit in a well-lit bathroom, on an uncomfy chair, is not helping anybody.
Maybe moms should just lock themselves in their houses for the breasfeeding period, so no one can be offended [/sarcasm]

I used a blanket with my daughter but not my son. I doubt you'd have seen a flash of my boob with either of them even if you were staring.
Personal preference for both mom and baby.
Basically, Richard, if you're offended by a nursing baby and worried that you might see something inappropriate, look the other way. No-one said you had to watch.
After all, courtesy works both ways.
Why not stay at home until the kids about 4. These people that think its ok to whip out their tit and let some little puke suck on it in public should move to Africa where it's common.
