It's amazing that "ignorant" U.S. Government Officials to this day are still trying to deflect their responsibility into granting visas to the 9/11 terrorist so they could fly from Saudi Arabia direct to the United States.

What's worse, there is never much mention into the U.S. Government "protecting their oil interests" and flying the Bin Laden family back to Saudi Arabia right after the 9/11 attacks.

Yeah sorta, but it's because I had an argument with a friend on the telephone 2 days ago. He lives back in Arlington, TX and he for some reason believes to this day that the 9/11 terrorist entered the USA from Canada.

I did some research on this and found some articles that stated 86% of U.S. Citizens believe that the 9/11 terrorist came from Canada.

Now from my 12 years in Texas I have noticed that "Americans" don't know much about their own country, much less about others around the world.

Maybe ignorance is bliss.

Seems the only time they learn anything about geography is when the USA invades a country for oil.

A two year old article is not what most of us would consider news. It tends to fall into the recent history zone.

The article may be old, but the "topic" is not. More restrictions at the Canada/USA border, and so on.

Tougher passport restrictions on the way

Security increased at airports, border crossings

shit, shit, shit....well the gigs up.....no use in pretending anymore....

wow i never thought that the americans would figure it out......

...yes...it was us who flew the planes into the towers, no terrorists, it was the Canadians.....

...we've been planning this for years, about the time free trade was passed, we decided we didn't like it anymore, so we wanted to mess up the US's economy by attacking the US..... PDT_Armataz_01_40

....if the terrorists REALLY did come in through Canada....shouldn't the US be blaming their border guards for letting them into the US?....true it might be hard to find justification to detain those people....i'm sure they had something incriminating with them......

....there you go tritium, next time you have a discussion with your friend over who's fault it was...agree with him that the terrorists came from Canada (to amuse him)....then blame the US boarder guards for LETTING them into the US.....then listen to the dead air on the phone as he tries to wrap his head around that...

It is the Americans right to do so.

People who matter know the terrorists didn't come from Canada, bu it is their border, and theirs to do as they see fit. Canada is foreign country, and should be treated as such.

Besides, its not like nothing has ever happened at the Canadian border.

And the US has legitimate concerns about terrorist organizations operating in Canada.

Many of the things you say are beyond stupid, yet you refuse to believe it when people tell you. You are a hypocrite.
