Canada's election won by Conservatives!!!!
RUEZ RUEZ:
So if he's as bad as you guys say, and you've gone on and on about the fixed election thing. Why has he gotten even more support now? Time for some new tactics folks, it didn't work.
Don't look at the seats, look at the percentage of votes.
The only thing that kept Harper in power, is the fact that there are 3 lefty parties, Liberals 29%, NDP 20% and Green 6%.
The Conservatives got 36% of the national vote.
If the Liberals, NDP and Green would roll themselves into one party, they would win a majority.
Sorta like what the Conservatives and Reform Party did.

And why didnt the left do this.....? Ya thats right only thing they can agree on, HARPER BAD!
I just want to get an answer on that fixed election date issue, because I'm sick of hearing about it. Did you know that it did not apply to minorities?
Dion and Jack bitched that the CPC government was bad and needed to be stopped but Dion never voted against the CPC confidance votes. Where's the honesty there?
If Dion brought down the government, at leastI wouldn't be saying he chickened out 43 times.

Not going to happen. That's too wide a spectrum, compared to the Alliance and PC merger. There are plenty of fiscal conservatives within the Liberal Party, that have more in common with the CPC than the NDP. remember all those red tories that went over to the Liberal Party? Something like a merger of the 3 'Left' parties would dive them and a fair number of liberals into the arms of the CPC.

You're right. No argument from me.
It's easy to point fingers... it harder to share the glory.
Layton is all about himself.. wanting to ne Prime Minister. Some good policies.
May... she just scares me.
Dion, WTF is he saying.
They need to consolidate the parties and find a strong, carismatic Canadian Obama figure to lead the way.

God... shut up already.
This coming from a fella that is on a ship for months at a time. A sausage fest on the high seas.
The Conservatives need to enlist you to run in Quebec, you have the right qualifications already...

Have a seat, loser magoo.

That was the problem with the Liberals. They lost what they stand for, so the NDP is picking up seats.
They need to return to their true Liberal roots.

Look you mentally retarded, unbalanced fucktard. You started calling names rather than adding something constructive to the thread the minute I insulted your precious Harper.
I thought as military personnel you were under gag orders. So please STFU and go play with your navy boys.

Liberals got 4% less of the vote then 2006 yet have or are leading in 74 seats. Thats 29 less than before yet the NDP and the Cons are the same as in 2006. May gave Harper the win but the Bloc stoped the majority.

At least Tritium shows up and represents.
I don't see many of those who predicted a Liberal victory around here tonight.
3 out of 10 voted cons wow what a victory

Hey sour grapes. Can't you be happy for us?

4 out of 10 would be closer to the mark.

Since you're rounding, that's 4 out of 10.
3 out of 10 voted Liberal.
