Let professional sports come up with their own money. Pay the players a little less if they don't have the money to put on the grey cups. No govt funded stadiums, or other subsidies.

They'll get the money and I'm all for it, I love the CFL.

Interesting how the "cultural funding" argument turns around for some people when its not The Pride Parade, which itself generates over $100 million in private revenue.

If any sport deserves the money it's the CFL, which, since Gary Bettmans destruction of the NHL, has become the last truly Canadian sport.

GO RIDERS

Last I checked most make about 45k a year and the quarterbacks make over 3 times that starting at 150k and going up to 300k

Pay nothing. There's millions that these greedy owners and players cn go without. I don't have the money to see these games, so why should I pay, when those that attend these games should. Also, all these sponsors pay millions anyway...so why not spnsor this.

If the fans are dead beats that cant collectively afford $12 million, then down size the game. We have CFL games all the time, and they dont require funding.
