I agree. Milk in North America fighs very hard to keep it's " "pure and healthy" image and this is screwing them by association.
What we need to do is stop wasting time with these foreign manufacturers who are beyond our laws, and demand that the importers be responsable for what they bring in, and guarantee their word with a huge bond. You want to import Mao's cat food or use suspect raw materials in you're products, you prove it's safe and we hold onto the say, 50% of annual sales.

I find it also sort of funny that all this dangerous foreign products scare has done nothing to quiet up the anti-natural medicine folks. There's got to be almost no regulation on the products and huge profits to be had.

Simple solution:
Ban all imports from China.
Ban all companies that do not have a headquarters in North America.
Ban all companies that outsource jobs to non-North America locales.
Have the US revoke its prefered trade status to China.
Export nothing to China - they are just going to copy it anyways.
