This was already happening when Harper was still in office and the courts kept striking down bills that his Justice Minister Peter MacKay kept passing without apparently verifying if they were Charter-compliant.
Can somebody explain to me why Peter MacKay is seemingly held in such high esteem given what an incompetent nincompoop he was as a Cabinet minister?
Jason Kenney might have crapped the bed as Alberta Premier, but he oversaw some of Harper's best work on immigration reform...
