Where's the spring offensive from the monkey king there?
What happened to all the bragging and bluster?
Did someone notice that the bank accounts empty and the campaign bills just came in?
I say bring it on DION, we need a Majority CPC gov to get anything more done so do your worst.
Dion is every CPC's best friend.
Wait a few weeks, the CPC will lose the holiday buzz, they'll get attacked again, and their lead will diminish or evaporate. They gained their lead in the polls awfully fast. They can lose it just as quickly.
Except for the fickle and treasonous actions of Jihad jack, I actually respect the NDP more than the Libranos. The NDP has a recognised direction and can be relied upon to act towards that direction. I may not agree with all or even much of it, but input from that side is needed and can be helpful.
The Libs on the other hand make up policy on the fly, depending on how much support it will yield from their voter bases in Ontario and Quebec. They have shown time and time again that they will do and say anything to get and stay in power. Wasn't it martin who said "don't tell me what's in the red book. I wrote the damned thing".
I'd like to hear more excuses and rationalizations from the Librano supporters. A month ago, Dion was all geared up with his campaign walking shoes and a little raincoat for Kyoto, and he was going to bring this government to it's knees. Now he's the one who's on his knees. It's more than a flip-flop.
I've been saying for weeks that Dion wouldn't have the stones to call the Conservatives out. I almost feel guilty for making fun of the guy, like shooting fish in a barrel.
No sport.
The LIBRANO's Mulrooney/Schrieber campaign just reminded voters that Cretin/martin likely had dealings also with Schrieber ( in the aftermath of the sponsorship matters it has high credibility). And then the LIBRANOs foolishly hitched the star to the KYOTO wagon and the carbon tax thingy is not popular.
They just don't have the numbers or the cash. In the past the PCs were labled the bay Street party but that changed decades ago----the LIBRANOs financial power base IS Bay Street. And they have lost that constituency. They still have the CBC----for now---
it's been a bad day for the liberals...... Dion! what a pussy. its amazing how one pole started his yapping and another shut him up just as fast. Dion is a spineless whimp he is unfit to lead a party never mind a country.
dion has droped the tough talk and instead will try and win some safe liberal seats back in by-elections . well maybe not that safe , vancouver one might be closer with cpc having such a big lead in bc over the liberals and churchill river one is on verge of turning into major mess for liberals over nominaiton and david orchard .
but downtown toronto will vote for born again liberal bob rae which will be great cause it will remind everyone of how bad his previous ontario ndp government was and ruined economy .
Hmm, David Orchard. I got an email from his office asking for support for his nomination. I don't know what to do. He was a supporter for Dion at the leadership convention but Dion appointed a different candidate. I just met him at the convention, don't know him otherwise. If he's on the outs with Dion, I shouldn't get involved. Still, since he brought so many deligates for Dion to the convention, I don't understand why someone else was appointed. Curious.
Anyway, if Stephen Harper starts the "support my bill or it's a confidence motion" business again, expect Dion will force the issue. He can't retain support if they keep abstaining.
