You people are being mean to Celine. It's not her fault that she's from Quebec. I like her song from the show with Leo in it that was about the boat that sank. I cry if I hear it when I'm about 8 beers into a good pisser. [B-o]

I don't think so. I don't think the boat show is the 'happily ever after' type.

hmmmm.... That was pretty bad. But there's worse:

Awesome!

That reminds me of that album they sold on late night TV a decade or so ago with Shatner and Nimoy doing covers of tons of songs. Shatner's 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' was soooo funny!

Well, I find it hard to believe that you folks would pick on Celine Dion.

I mean, she's an icon. Why, I think her rendition of "Proud Mary" was excellent! What???? That was WHO? Tina Turner?? Oh....OK, then how about "Snowbird!" THAT was GREAT!!! Huh...Ann Murray?

Surely Celine must have had a hit at some time....Why Just the other day I played one of her CD's and all the dogs in the neighbourhood sang along.

Heck, just let Tina Turner top THAT!!!

The Shat gets a bad rap. He got better as he got older. In fact if Dion is responsible for the worst cover ever done by a Canadian, I offer this one up as one of the best.

I guess it helps when you've got Joe Jackson backing you up though.

The Dion cover is the worst I have ever heard, ever. The Shattner covers are comedy, at least I hope so. On my weekly internet radio show, I do lots of covers, many of them very rare and hard to find. Dion's cover will never be played, though if it fits the theme of that weeks show, Shattner might.
