Very mature. Guess you are really saying that all those dope smoking NDP supporters are smoking more now then ever and the liberal supporters are drowning their sorrows. Only a sore loser would relate everything they read back to the election results. Might be time to get over it dont you think?

Wouldn't it be simple to ask people when you survey them "WHY" they're drinking more?
Also doesn't mean much unless you compare the numbers to other provinces.

Hey! I was going to say that people drink more during hard times. During good times people tend to drink less but better.
Myself, right now I'm drinking probably about the same but I'm favoring local Clarksburg appellation) wines and Korbel brandy over Napa cabernets and French Sauternes and French armagnac.
One thing I've drawn the line on is single malt Scotch. I'm not lowering my standards on that.

Anyway, is it the numbers are really up, or that more people are willing to fess up to it ?
Btw, the drinking and then driving soon after is not good.
Education needs to be re-addressed.
