My heart is warmed when ever I hear of the love and affection the people of Quebec give their armed forces. I've said it before and I have said it again, the Quebec do not want a CF presence in their province. We should close down all Ref Force bases and move the Recuitment Center to either Alberta, BC or Ontario.

   

There comes the lil ''troll'' Guy Fuwkes generalizing once more, not much surprise there.

A good majority of Quebecers outside of Montreal, eventhough not all in favour for the mission in Afghanistan, but they do support the soldiers.

This is more than likely the act of a ''FEW'' idiots and the entire province, but we all know how you like to blame the whole province, troll.

   

Sorry Pimp but I find support for the Forces in general, and the Afghan mission in particular, is always LOWEST in Quebec. So, in fact, Guy was not far off in his statement.

I'm sure you will be offended by this post.

   

Are you his ''side kick'' all of a sudden? Seriously!! He is in the military and cannot fend for himself seriously like wtf is that about.

This is not about getting offended or not, it is about the ''generalization''. Ignorance about Quebec everytime there is a something, sure Quebecers this and that. Not bitching only bringing up a valid point.

   

I never said they did not support the military, just that they dont want them around. Im sure Quebecers would be happier than frog on a lilly pad, if all they had were reserve bases. It would mean less Quebec boys and girls dying in combat, Im suprised you wouldnt jump at the deal. I can think of at least one person who feels that they do not want francaphones joining the CF, and feels so strongly to the point where they risked their life as well as several others to get his point across. I could be wrong however, this could be an attack like they had in the states last year where a guy was denied service, so he shot up a recuiting center. I think the latter is EXTREMELY unlikely though.

   

Yeah, you are right Guy and 2cdo. We ALL hate the CF. ALL of us....

We don't even know if it's a Quebecer. It could be a fucking muslim.

   

Like saying that CFB Wainwright, the entire base and units are drug dealers.

After all, it must be true there was an article about it. And since this happened in Alberta, surely all those Albertans must be drug users. (sarcasm)

But then, no Quebecers on this site bashed the earlier thread, cause after all, QC has a little more class.

   

There are a lot of Quebecois in the Military, far more of them than people from the Maritimes, so I would disagree that they dont like the military, they may have the most hate for Afghanistan, but I just dont see the average person in Quebec even contemplating something like this.

On another more positive note, all of the CF Personnel who work there are Quebecois anyway so they would only be hurting themselves if someone had been hurt.

   

Btw, it's in Quebec that the most people enters the CF. At least the last time I heard. So go fuck yourself with your generalization.

   

No matter what happens or what is said, they already have their made up opinions since they have some kind of prejudice towards the entire province.

OK though, I am a Quebecer that is proud of our Canadian troops and I am proud of Canada. No matter of some fucking ignorant trolls in the ROC.

Please show the last "Freedom of The City" parade in a Quebec city.

They were not trying to hurt anyone, thats why they had the bomb go off at 3 am and gave a warning. They just wanted to stop recuitment at that location.

You seem to forget this is my opinion, which is gathered from other Quebecers who have been posted out of Quebec. As well as my limited experiences that I have had in Quebec.

They are not your view, but yelling "Your a Troll Shut UP!" and "not all of us think like that!" will not change my mind. Coming out and showing me examples of Quebecers celebrating the CF/Military in their comunity will.
