If it wasn't for The Rebel we wouldn't hear how the AB NDP Fucked Up in regards to the Ft Mac Wild Fire.

   

No. I didn't say that. I said the leftist activist group, Sleeping Giants, called Rebel racist. Porter airlines jumped on board with Sleeping Giants, proclaiming they put Rebel on what they called "a blacklist" and Rebel came back with "You're anti-semites."

Not only did I say that, I said it clear, so refusing to acknowledge it is either dumb, lazy reading or a desperate lie. Take your pick.

   

I didn't see that one, but I can think of many others where the corporate and state run media of the left lied by omission on, then Rebel told us the details of the story they wouldn't.

There was that one where it was implied some "Islamophobe" attacked a Muslim woman in an Ontario supermarket, pulling off her hijab. Rebel was a lonely media presence when the case actually went to court. Turned out the perp was an Iranian ex-Muslim being treated for psychological problems. And the media went suddenly silent on a case they previously couldn't shut up about. They were like the singing frog from the old Warner Brothers cartoons.

Lately we had that one where the CBC and others couldn't shut up about concerning how the noble refugees were freezing in the snow supposedly fleeing Donald Trump's America, with the noble RCMP assisting them through the snow like the underground railway of the slave days.

So Faith Goldy of Rebel started hanging around the border with her microphone and a cameraman. Turned out so much of that story had been left out it was pretty much all bullshit and CBC was forced to reveal at least some of the details from the more complete story. They don't tell the lie the way they were telling it anymore, anyway.

Then there was the one where Earl's Restaurant wouldn't buy Canadian beef.

There's tons of these. I just used the first three I could think of.

Oh wait...I forgot my favorite. Actually this one wasn't Rebel. It was Ezra at Sun. Remember the media trying to make a hero out of Chief Spence and her "hunger strike." Then Ezra did a little actual journalism on Thief Spence and the media troops covering the story found themselves sneaking off Spence's little protest island in the middle of the night where the still plump princess had been issuing press releases on her heroic efforts to shame Canada.

   

A perfect example of Ezra's bullshit!

The NDP had little to do with that fire, it was Agriculture and Forestry. Communications breakdowns and positioning of air tankers had to do with internal procedures of the Ministries, and nothing to do with the Government! But hey, NDP! LOCK HER UP!

Two things that report reminds me of those disaster flicks of the 70's. And doesn't Agriculture and Forestry answer to the government. Shit should roll up sometimes. Though it really looks like there won't be one answer for what went wrong

   

And if anyone believes that the austerity-obsessed WRA or PC's would have made firefighting in the forests of the Ft. Mac region one of their top priorities prior to 2016 then contact me ASAP. I've got some valuable oceanfront property in, well, the Ft. Mac region to sell you. And I'm in regular contact with the Prince of Nigeria too.

   

Ag & Forestry is a government ministry. But Ezra's minion wants you to think that Rachael herself was giving orders to let For Mac Burn.

In reality, the report points out things like the Provincial fire center doesn't have any way to communicate with local fire departments, and that hampered co-ordination with fighting the fire.





All the years the Provincial command center asked for better equipment and communications that got put on hold or deferred by the PCs now gets heaped on the NDP. LOCK HER UP!

   

So basically if I understand Doc's critique, the government wasn't responsible. It was agencies within the government.



And Doc also tells us somebody within the government I didn't hear the Rebel commentator mention "Dindu nuffin." Very well. So what?

Also Thanos tells us maybe other governments were lax here and there at some time in the past as well. That may be true, but what would it have to do with the point Rebel was making concerning the report on the Fort McMurray fire?

Most importantly in fact, what does any of this have to do with Sheila Gunn Reid's actual point?

The point I heard Reid commenting on was that there was a government report on mismanagements regarding the Horse River Wildfire and the NDP hid it.

Did they? Did the NDP hide or ignore the report. Because if they did Rebel has a legitimate critique. If they're wrong show us your superior evidence on why you believe that.

   

Tell that to the families who lost everything in the Ft Mac Wild Fire and sorry you couldn't blame Conservatives.

Don't forget to renew your NDP membership.

   

I've chosen to break the non-voting vow and vote for them again just to piss all of you off.
