That's what I remember him for too, well that and the SCTV Fantasy Island parody with Joe Flaherty (as Montalban) and John Candy (as Tattoo).

What a terrible loss. He was a great actor and a really nice guy, too. My wife and I met him in Hawai'i in 2004 at the Royal Hawaiian. He was very warm and friendly to us and was kind enough to allow Mrs. Bart to have a picture with him.
