As much as I disagree with the coaches actions, I can understand. Being only 21 if I EVER said that to anyone older than me growing up, they would have gave me a shot to the head no matter who it was. When 3, 12 year olds tell me and my 2 friends who are not small individuals to "Suck a Blanking Blank" it takes a lot of restraint not to show the little shits some respect.
Something that's definitely lacking in today's pre-teens and teens alike.
Hook him by the shoulder pads and frog march his ass straight to his coach.
My kid would not be able to taste anything but Ivory for a month. And it would probably take that long for him to be able to sit properly again as well.
Unfortunately it's not only kids.....their role models ain't much better...
Three members of Stampeders fined for abuse of officials
Between the little shits and and the assholes that dumped them, why do people wonder why it's so hard to get people to coach and officiate kids sports?
A football player got pushed to the ground. Isn't that part of the game???
Over the last 45 years, authority figures no longer have authority since discipline cannot be meted out. Teachers cannot raise their voices in fear of parental reprisals. This happened to a relative of mine who teaches grade 3 in Ontario. Parents complained that their child was yelled at. It was determined that the student was simply spoken sternly to. This relative is in their sixties and was astounded at how pathetic the educational system has become. This same relative said that students are not allowed to fail (or in terms of modern speak, "held back"). I know of several at the grade 3 level when I was in school failing. One is now a VP at Campbell Soup. The days of children sitting in their seats by rank and file with silence in the classroom as the teacher teaches are long gone. We now have little thugs carrying weapons coming to school and we sit back, watch, debate and, in the end, do nothing about it since no politician has the guts to come down hard on the "system" that has slid to near the bottom of a deep abyss. It has taken 45 years for this social environment to develop and it will take a long time to go back to some form of sanity.
The little punk deserved it. My sympathy is with the coach.
It's beyond me that this is even news worthy at times like these.
