If this happens, better watch out.

Lidl has crushed everything in Europe, they have a great business model.

Move here! We have one of the last Overpricey (whoops Overwaitea) stores. They're talking about changing it to a SaveOn Foods but I suggested to the manager to change it to GUM... remember that Soviet department store with all the empty shelves and only items no one could afford?

Bring them to Canada and we'll do to them what we did to Target.

If it's a store with the values of modern Germany does that mean all the male employees have to wear ass-less chaps at work?

When we were living overseas, other than Costco we used to shop at Carrefour, Geant and Tesco, although the Tescos could only be found in Taipei and Taichung. Geant died out in Kaohsiung, a few years after opening. Costco really started to expand island wide.

When we were on Kinmen, the big western chain was Walmart super centres in Xiamen. We used to get our landlord to shop there for us, as foreigners(then) couldn't catch the 20 minute ferry between Kinmen and Xiamen. He was there one or twice a week.

Was thinking along the same lines. Wondering if they would undercut H.E.B. and still have decent stuff. Fiesta is cheaper then H.E.B. on some things but the quality of those products leaves a lot to be desired.

Bread going moldy 2 days after you buy it is my biggest complaint about Fiesta.
