Couldnt this also apply in some way to the draggers? They do harvest those types of fish aswell, even if it is as a byproduct. Maybe we just gotta get a little mean again.

I doubt we have the man power visa vie the Coast Guard to inforce the ban. Canada hasn't been very successful in the courts when we nab the odd offender fishing within our waters. Have we won any cases? I can't remember reading of any successful ones.

It should be banned, my father was a longline fishermen and the draggers distroyed this industry.
