How they manage to keep that joke of a party viable after all the hype and all the failures is beyond me. Greens must be the most gullible people in the world.

The Green Party is essentially single issue. Is that the kind of representation people want in Parliament?

I guess the fact that the BC Green Party has never been able to elect a single person to the provincial legislature never entered their so-called minds. I'm sure the people of Saanich would love to have an eastern carpetbagger who has no intention of actually representing their needs represent them.

The Greens are a nice protest party. People don't mind voting for them, as protest, because they know they'll never get elected. But if you actually examine their policies, they can't expect any TRUE support. Only the lunatic fringe of society support things like a $2/l tax on gasoline.
