Don't forget, this is coming from a guy who was tickled pink to have his picture taken with Dion. If it aint Liberal, it aint for him.

Truth be told, most Americans could not care less about what the Canadian PM has to say.

Americans don't care.

better remind Iggy of that, before he burns through all the Liberal party funds posting his picture on Broadway.

You're saying Americans actually do care?

Akhenaten @ Fri Mar 27, 2009 7:49 pm

Story reminds me of the Republican whining and character assassination when Obama snubbed the US media for al Jazeera.

What's your point? A couple of opposition MPs, not even leaders of opposition parties, go to talk to one guy once. BFD.

Harper's been making the rounds, getting his message out, hoping some trickles back into Canada while doing an end-run around Canadian media. He's the Prime Minister. He should be talking to us, not them.

So why's he talking to them?

Tman1 @ Fri Mar 27, 2009 8:46 pm

Good question. My conclusion is that he wants Americans more aware of Canada....which brings us back to the loop here.

Proculation @ Fri Mar 27, 2009 9:00 pm

I think it's a good think with the shadow of protectionism to get closer and more friendly with the U.S. They must see us like one of them, not people stealing their jobs.

Tman1 @ Fri Mar 27, 2009 9:03 pm

Why should we care if they think 'we' are stealing 'their' jobs? I don't get it and if we are, good. You snooze, you lose.

JustKate @ Fri Mar 27, 2009 9:07 pm

I can't get that FOX Red eye show out of my mind!!!!!!!! It was the straw that broke the camels back for me. God I need help.

F@ck USA!

CANADA! CANADA! CANADA! That's the new me!

They will demand tariffs and quotas on our products to protect their jobs. That's what protectionism is.
