Back on-topic, the bottom line is that Harper doesn't have time for Canadians but he can make time for the network that thinks our involvement in Afghanistan is fodder for a punchline.

That shows you where his priorities lie. He's a sycophant.

The bottom line is he is spending the weekend in the U.S. doing interviews before heading to the G20. How you can interpret this as not having time for Canadians is beyond me. I'm not sure if you've noticed but we are in a world wide recession. Our PM has been trying to keep Canadians on the U.S. radar. It's beyond me how you people can criticize him for doing his job, at the same time ignoring Canadian politicians that take trips to the U.S. to involve themselves in something that has nothing to do with Canada.

piss on the cry baby Canadian media. It's not like Canadians don't watch CNN and Fox, they probably watch more of those two than the CBC

Maybe in sunny Alberta..

A real danger for Canada right now is US protectionism. In the interviews with fox/cnn he does a pretty good job of selling the idea that protectionism is very bad for everybody.

Sounds like his prioritys are in order, actually.

Clearly, he and his butt-boy Flaherty thought otherwise until it smacked 'em in the face like a frozen mackerel.

He can make time to suck up to Fox. Yet oddly enough, he can't make time to talk to Canadian media. You figure out why that should be.

Yeah right, next your going to tell me the majority of quebec media are all centric and balanced with no political leanings.

Only problem is that those with an open mind vis a vis protectionism don't watch Fox. Their minds have been made up for them already

 So now an interview is considered sucking up. I love the descriptive words you lefties use in order to vilify someone.

How do you know who watches Fox? That's as bad as someone saying only socialist lefties watch the CBC.

And the usual right-wingers on this site used to do enough of that.

"descriptive words" on that order are necessary so that 'righties' such as yourself don't misunderstand.

I think that Fox's own demographics would back me up. The "I know what I know and don't need argument to make me think otherwise' demo that is
