Ms. Jamal said both she and her husband have developed arthritis since he was jailed.

How did her husband being in jail have to do with her getting arthritis?? It's called getting old lady. Deal with it.

Right....you can bite me, seriously.

He hasn't even been found innocent or guilty yet. Jeez, anyway can somebody remind me of this case? I don't remember it too well...what was this guy arrested for specifically?

ridenrain @ Thu Apr 17, 2008 12:43 pm

True "Canadian values" there.
Anything goes wrong and the first step is to sue anyone.
It's like they'd rather look for hardship and misery thinking thats the way to riches, rather than simple hard work.

Mr & Mrs Jamal: Go pound sand.

They were supposedly terrorists. Now if they weren't they have reason to be.

Oh? Is that how it works? So anyone accused of a crime now has reason to commit a crime.

Brenda @ Thu Apr 17, 2008 1:27 pm

Hmmm, I think I am gonna sue the Embassy for taking over 2 years to get me my visa that I was "entitled" too, I mean, come on, 27 months of sitting by the mailbox waiting for the mailman, that does a lot to ones body!

[/sarcasm]

Lady, you are 46, how old are your kids again? 1,3,5 and 7? I didn't think so. Stop whining and get a life. Be glad it is over and done with. Sorry you lost your 2 years, and had such a hard time coping with your kids. I wonder why he was arrested in the first place? Because of his beautiful brown eyes?

Wow that makes sense. Ooh I was accused of hitting my brother, now I should hit him

"I know it sounds greedy, but I don’t care. I want millions for what the kids have suffered and how much we’ve aged in this process."

Oh great !!! Now that ''what's his name'' was awarded 10 million a few years ago, now they assume they can get some of that too.

Let's just say that we welcome them here in Canada. And as a show of appreciation, they plot a terrorist attack against their adoptive country. That's just ironic isn't it. Oh boy !!! Let's have terrorists plot an attack and see if the Canadian government compensate them for it.

All of them, 18 originally involved should get: ROTFL

"He’s a lot more patient and compassionate," she said. "It’s actually softened him a bit."

What? He only beats her once a week now.
BTW Although the charges were stayed---this is not a judgement of innocence in fact the condition of release was a peace bond.
