True a round to the back of the skull would be a very efficient method of ISIS/Islamic terrorist de-programming; not only would be non PC but it would deprive of a possible 10 million dollar payout by the Trudeau government to compensate for all those nasty people who said is a fink.

Wow, a whopping 4 year 1 month sentence for taking part in an attempted genocide and he could be out in three months?
Fuck sakes, I had a buddy that served 7 years in prison for killing someone in what was clearly a case of self-defense. Sadly the fact he was Black probably had something to do with the harsh sentence.

How the fuck you only get 4 years for willingly taking part in terrorist and genocidal activities is beyond me. The govt and justice system in this country are a complete fucking joke.

I would assume because he didn't actually take part. Sounds like he was arrested before he got there.

This is what he pled guilty to:

Leaving Canada to participate in activity of terrorist group

83.181 Everyone who leaves or attempts to leave Canada, or goes or attempts to go on board a conveyance with the intent to leave Canada, for the purpose of committing an act or omission outside Canada that, if committed in Canada, would be an offence under subsection 83.18(1) is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term of not more than 10 years.

   

Twice even. The first time he made it to Istanbul where an observant cabbie turned him in. He was returned to Canada. It was during his second attempt to leave that he was busted at Pearson. Remember, intent plays a big part in how justice is handed down. Or at least it's supposed to.

   

I agree, I don't think the judge should have given less than what the crown wanted.

   

He should get 30 years in a cell full of un-fed, screaming, cats.

   

You could also put him in a with a herd of hungry pigs (tied up of course). Imaging a Moslem nut getting eaten bypigs.
