Hopefully she will live a tortured lonely life.

What a sad, disturbed and pathetic woman.

Yogi @ Sat Jan 31, 2009 9:13 am

I volunteer to be 'the one' to hear her last two words!

$1:
He read that Boudreau was given an ultimatum by her live-in boyfriend, Vernon Macumber, who told her either the daughter had to go, or he would end their relationship.

There is only 1 thing I have to say about this...

NEVER EVER CHOOSE THE ONE THAT MAKES YOU CHOOSE

It's a heartbreaking story of a monsterous crime.

commanderkai @ Sat Jan 31, 2009 10:36 am

That's fucking disturbing...

You mean that was the only option?? I would've still had nothing but total disrespect for the option of either turning custody of Karissa to her natural father or social services but at least she'd still be alive. Macumber sure must have been a great lay to cause all this shit and yet come out unscathed. I find total comfort in the fact that this 'person' will be too old to have any more children by the time she gets out of prison.

This mimics the Susan Smith case in the state 15 years ago, erriely so. Both were told by their BFs that their kids stood in the way of a relationship and both women choose to murder their kids then appear on TV pleading for their return. Reprehensible beyond words.

Absolutely correct - that's why the accused/convicted should never be put to death - we must study these aberrations. . . .

It's sad how low people will go. I always think I've seen the lowest of the low, then another story comes out :)

Yogi @ Sat Jan 31, 2009 4:12 pm

You know what is just as sad? One day she will be released to live amongst us again!

$1:
Penny Boudreau, 34, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder Friday in a Bridgewater, N.S. courthouse and was sentenced to life in prison with no parole for 20 years.
