Khadr's family made Canada a 'laughing stock'
I would like to take this moment to point out to EVERYONE that both Liberals and Conservatives are commenting on this article with much the same feelings...

And that, my friend, means it is part of the definition of "what defines us as Canadians?".
Does that include the NDP as well

Why do you try and ruin this with a kumbaya moment? WHY ?

That's because you didn't read my jabs at Chretien.
Seriously, folks with this much hate for us should never have been let in the country. I wanted to make a comment about how could they avoid this much hatred but then they are sheltered in their own little community, isolated from the desgust that most Canadians must have for them.
Another big feather in the cap for rampant multiculturalsim.

Yes...well provincial does that count

It will also be followed by a big group hug just to make you squirm more...
It is actually nice to see that we are on the same page on this one.
It's good to see that, despite our opposing views, we can all spot an enemy of the country and it's obvious we are all proud Canadians.
Kinda cool really.

While I agree that omar is guilty, and his family are terrorist sympathizers, and also that he should not be brought back to canada, i have to speak out against the use of torture. Its just fucking inhumane, and even if he did kill someone....torture is just fucked up. We should not sink to their level. he should have been tried from the get-go, then imprisoned.

Sorry but most here sunk to that level when they tried and convicted him without a trial allready.Read through all the khadr threads and you will see what I mean. It's like the old west and the lynch mob mentality.
Im not supporting this guy but he should be afforded the same rights as other Canadians regardless of who let him in.
If we start judging people by the info we are fed my the MSM then this country is in sad shape indeed.
Give the guy a trial,if he's guilty of treason or other acts then the law will prevail.why is everyone so scared for this guy to get a trial?
I am sure glad the folks who want to kill him and his family arent running this country or writing the laws.We would be like a police state.

Not really, some of us dont go with mob rule.
I'm one of them.
Sorry if it burns your ass but the freedoms we have were fought for a long time ago and I dont think you or the rest of whats starting to look like a modern day lynch mob is going to change it.
You have judged the guy based on what you have watched on youtube videos and read in the MSM.
No offence johnny but what gives you the right to judge, convict and sentence a Canadian without a fair trial?

Because the child should have been left (dead) in the POS house they found him. Unless Ziggy you believe "the family was doing charity work" like they say. If you do then my respect for you has gone out the window.
This family should have been thrown out of Canada in the 90’s, the liberals didn’t do that because the feared public backlash from the immigrant voting base they so dearly love.
There is no reason he should be allowed back in Canada, the US will hold the trial and hopefully toss his ass out of the helicopter @20K ft.
He is not a Canadian that goes for the family too.
The presumption if innocence goes out the window when you follow in you're terrorist fathers footsteps, travel to Pakistan to train with the worlds largest terrorist organization then go purposely into a war zone with other insurgents. At any point along that line, he could have left and his fate would have been very different.
