It happens all the time in Canada. You're all just pissed because someone gave it to your mortal enemies. If the shoe was on the other foot, you'd be yelling it from the rooftops...

Pay back the ADSCAM money and we'll talk about it.

See how easy that is RR? You can post all sorts of articles, not just ones that further your narrow political agenda! Or are you still living behind that one-way mirror?

Why dosen't the opposition write up a bill and do someting about it instead of making the NDP do all the work.

Because that would mean they would actually have to show up and vote on something.

Better yet, stick with you're usual advertizing campaign. It might explain the really bad donations..

It's funny, I dug up some examples of Con Garth bitching about what he called "poop-o-grams", sent by Liberals like Sukh Dhaliwal in British Columbia. In the process, I notice that now Lib. Garth is bitching about the CPC doing this, even though Garth admits to sending these out himself.

I wondered when the mailbox had this cheap duplicator flyer about Dion's Tax on Everything in it, and it wasn't even from an MP in our area.
Didn't think about the postal abuse, just the misleading bullshit it was full of.

cheryl08 @ Wed Jul 30, 2008 9:54 pm

It would be funny to watch the conservatives have to remberse taxpayers for the money they spent. It would send a message to all political parties to think again before they use the public's money for campaign purposes.

dino_bobba_renno @ Thu Jul 31, 2008 5:21 am

I think both parties should be asked to pay back the money used for any type of party literature that is being mailed out in this manner.

$1:
Commons rules allow MPs to print and mail leaflets called "tenper centers" to inform the public about parliamentary issues.

The way I interpret that is that this type of funding is to be used only to inform the general public about important issues or bills the current parliament are dealing with. Not for cheap partisan flyers.

Steve Jankee was sent one of the boiler plait templates for a liberal handout and it sounds like a bored worker fixedit up a bit. I don't think this is what they wanted,...
