Harper the man who is so concerned about law has no compunction to keep it and this move proves it. And those that support this move are as immoral IMHO.

He accused the government of “unilaterally” and “in our view, illegally” changing the rules in mid-stream. He said the position is a bilingual one, a requirement stipulated in the job description.
Unsure if this would make it an actual law though.
I'm sure much time and lawyer fees will sort it all out.

I don't know what the big deal is about. Just about everyone agrees Ferguson is the clear front runner for this spot and he has committed to improving his French language skills. Nothing more than political grandstanding if you ask me.
