Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. His ex-wife, his father, and pretty anyone who knew the shooter.

Yeah, we all know they would never lie to protect themselves, or their local mosque.

Will you ever take the blinders off ?

That depends. Will you ever stop being a racist, bigoted piece of shit?

You, Andy and the other useful idiots will just keep your heads buried in the sand. THIS is 100% the real face of islam.
But you guys keep chanting "isolated incident" every time it happens.

The lt. governor of Texas Dan Patrick seems to be a bit of a terrorist sympathizer - funny how much the religious wackos can come together and agree on things.

How about a link so we know what you're talking about?

Dan Patrick Dan Patrick:
"Man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction,"

His staff claims it was an auto-tweet, some kind of mandatory religious bullshit they've set up for every Sunday morning. They deleted it. No doubt they'd be as quiet and non-judgmental as they were though when that bug-eyed fucker who shot up the PP Clinic in Colorado Springs turned out to be a dependable bible-thumping Christian. That's what bothers me about today. Clearly Islam takes the blame for this one but there's also not gonna be a shortage of Christian fundie pukes taking a "well, maybe the guy was right with this one" attitude about it. Assholes of a feather eventually flock together.

Well, let's be fair. How was this directed at the Florida shooting? Lot's of straights sow from the flesh, including many many politicians. And fuck, I'd rather know somebody that sows from the flesh instead of a cold, greedy, heart any day. Especially if she's hot.

Or...

$1:
The Texas lieutenant governor is being called out as a "disgrace" for an ill-timed tweet just hours after what turned out to be the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.

After at least 50 people were killed at gay nightclub in Orlando early Sunday, Dan Patrick tweeted: "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows."

Lt. Gov. Patrick apologized later Sunday for the tweet, saying that it had been scheduled several days before and he "regrets the unfortunate timing."

Patrick tweeted a second verse from the Bible later Sunday morning, writing: "The salvation of the righteous comes from the lord; He is their stronghold in time of trouble." It is from Psalm 37:39.

The lieutenant governor tweets Bible verses almost every Sunday. In a statement, Patrick's office said that the lieutenant governor is out of the country and that the offending tweet was designed and scheduled on Thursday. It was removed later Sunday.

"Lt. Gov. Patrick and every Texan is stunned and saddened by the outrageous act of domestic terrorism that has occurred in Orlando," the statement read. "He and Jan are praying for the victims, their families and their friends."

And Christians appeared to be among those damning him for it.

@DanPatrick You pervert Christianity in a way that would make Jesus cringe. Where is your compassion?
— Chris Sacca (@sacca) June 12, 2016

"Imagine if you used your position to spread a message of peace & empathy," another one wrote. "People are dead and this is what you had to say?"

But nice try at diversion though.

The fact remains, 2 wrongs do not make a who cares, and this issue brings its own baggage.

Mohammed gives Omar 3 of these R=UP .

Agreed Thanos.

Sad day. I won't stir the pot much. I hate these stories, and the reactions they cause.

Oh do get off your high horse.

You came to convince the weak-minded that a Christian Lieutenant Governor tweeting the wrong bible verse at the wrong time was the same thing as an ideologically warped mental deficient killing 50 people.

I wasted too much time on it. I should have simply said 'Bullshit.'

I'll dissent from that one because there's no way the fundie shitheads from the other sects aren't going to sink as low a possible with some of their comments. Hatred of teh gayz is on of the few factors they all hold in common so they won't be able to prevent themselves from putting their true faces on display with this kind of incident.

Otherwise only a fool denies that politics/ideology/religion aren't the prime motivating factors in terrorism. Saying this thing in Florida isn't based in crackpot religion is as dumb and disingenuous as saying the PP Clinic shooter in Colorado also wasn't motivated and hopped up on religion. Defending an ideology and saying that it isn't responsible, even when the bodies are still bleeding out on the ground, and then on top of it try to insert something far less relevant as the main problem is something only a truly malicious asshole would do.

N_Fiddledog @ Sun Jun 12, 2016 1:00 pm

Yes, and I've seen comments from Progressives ultra times infinity worse than anything that Christian Lieutenant Governor said, but they had nothing to do with this issue. Saying they did would be a lame attempt at diversion. As this "oh look a Christian said something nasty" BS was.

Ultimately though if you really, really want to convince me that one thing equals the other it's ever so easy.

Here ya go.

Now that equals what? This?

Give me a break.

Thanos @ Sun Jun 12, 2016 1:05 pm

Somewhere along the line the SJW's managed to make hurt feelings from a dumb comment a worse crime than killing is. Definitely a sign of a mentality in full free-fall mode.

N_Fiddledog @ Sun Jun 12, 2016 1:19 pm

I just thought of a great cartoon.

There's this guy and he's been crucified up against his bedroom wall. His old grand-dad has been beheaded over his walker. His wife and daughter are being gang-raped by Jihadis below.

He looks down and says, "Don't worry Dear. It doesn't matter...cause Jimmy Swaggart bought a hooker once."

The problem is, only I would get it.

Nevertheless...wish I could draw.

The CBC will not call this a Terrorist Attack and the suspect a Terrorist.

Lone wolf, mentally disturbed, whitey's fault.

The excuses for any rational persons not named Hillary to come up with and explain away this horrific act are going to be hard to come by after this one.
