He's just another proof that the system has failed.

Strutz Strutz:
...But I think that its not entirley his fault. Just someone who didnt have a childhood and because of his fame cant go out of his house without being mobbed. As a result he used his money to seclude himself and recreate a childhood. He then proceeded to become lost in it and will probably never come out...

Probably not, 'lost childhood issues' are difficult to overcome; definitely not something one can overcome themselves. Where was his support from family and friends? Why did they enable him to resort to these measures?

SigPig SigPig:
...The stories the media reported about his relationships with children were horrible. Yet there still were people who let their kids "visit" him and his amusement park home even after the initial stories were reported. [huh]

Go figure...is that wanting to catch some of that '15 mins of fame'? Or the capital they perceived they could receive from it?

Ya know the only issue with him actually dieing is? If he dies it will me non stop BS and hype. We'll have to listen to his music on the radio every second song for awhile. They'll have all sorts of, "The Life of MJ" documentaries and retrospectives. OY, they'll even turn that ranch, or what ever it was, into another Graceland. That will make me sick. Why does death transform ones life into something of respect when in life they have none?

The parents of the children MJ had stay there seemed to respect him. Does he deserve any respect? That's the real question.

Isn't respect in the eyes of the beholder?

Oh c'mon man, admit it, and that includes several people here too.

You have all of his albums stashed away somewhere and listen to them when no one is around. ROTFL

Most definitely, and he doesn't have any in my eyes.
