Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic all told the EU to go to hell and refused point-blank to settle any of the "refugees". Nice to see the Slavs displaying some of the common sense that the Brit, Gauls, and Aryans are no longer capable of.

It's alright taking such a "tough" stance on the internet in a country which is thousands of miles away from where it's all happening where these refugees can't just walk into your country like they can in mainland Europe.
But I'd bet a tenner that were lefty-liberal Canada in Europe it'd open the floodgates to these refugees. Canada would be no different. In fact, you'd probably take in more than everyone else.

I'm an American and I am just as adamant about the illegal immigration on our southern border as I am about the hijra invasion going on in Europe.

Slovakia imposed border controls this morning, no surprise.
The Interior Ministers are meeting in Brussels, no doubt lots of shouting going on.
The border between Hungary and Austria is completely close in some places.
The Austrian army has been sent to the Hungarian and Slovenian border.
Rumours that the fence between Hungary and Serbia is now 99% done, and the border is now
closed, people being sent back.

Maybe there's a long term upside to it, but in the short term it's nothing but bad news. Europe will take an economic dive which will affect the rest of the world. Germany might not have to dole out all those billions anymore, but they made many more billions by having a market for their goods with a currency depressed by the economic basket cases. Ie the Deutschmark would go thru the roof, hurting Germany's exports. Greece will totally collapse, although that might be inevitable anyways. Britain may find out just what the benefits of being part of the EU were. Be careful what you wish for.

My guess is Hungary will be called Nazi by most Western Euro countries in the next few days.

It's this kind of lunacy running the EU these days.
Hungary will declare a state of emergency soon, and anyone trying to cross the border
with Serbia will be arrested and imprisoned.
It's actually very unfunny for me, we are due to travel to Slovakia early October.
If the borders are still up, it will make a 9 hour journey into 11-12 hours or more.
I could almost fly back to Canada that fast.

Yep, and these are the people that the NDP and Libs want to let into our country. I'll be perfectly blunt and say we shouldn't accept a single one of them. They offer nothing but future problems wherever they end up.

Yep, and these are the people that the NDP and Libs want to let into our country. I'll be perfectly blunt and say we shouldn't accept a single one of them. They offer nothing but future problems wherever they end up.
They could be the next Omar Khadr a Terrorist who's found a change of heart.
