Yeah, we are deliberatly targeting them, whatever. Nobody crys foul when the fucking Hodgies DO target civies and blow up buses and market squares, meaning to kill and maim kids and others enmasse.
But don't you read the signs they all carry identifying themselves as enemy combatants. geesh

How do you propose they do that when the bad guys are ordinary family men and women who lead a double life?

And there's the problem. The same guy who serves tea to the troops in the commissary goes off shift and then uses the scuttlebutt he overhears to lead a strike on the same guys he called "friends".
It goes to a thread I posted on the "Islamic Head Fake" where they openly advocate lying and appearing as so-called moderates to lull us (their enemies) into a false sense of security so they can attain a strategic advantage.
These innocent civilians that were shot the other day were probably doing their part to get the troops to stop shooting at people who approach them aggressively. By dying and being unarmed they'll get the troops to change SOP and we'll see an increase in suicide attacks against the troops by women and children as troops will be reluctant to open fire for fear of prosecution be it by the military or the traitors in the media.
Consequently, more troops will die.
Maybe they could wear different coloured pinies....

What air-headed loser wrote that POS article.
The Geneva Accords stipulate the display of some type of identification.
These bandits not only are indistinguishable from civilians, use civilians as human shields but also impersonate police and AA.

Uh, we don't cry foul? Why do you think we're over there?

All the more reason to leave their lands and say whatever you assholes do to your own people is your own fault and your own problem.

And why should they give a rat's ass about the Geneva Conventions?

(Yes, I'm saying this...)
They're not
all bad and so long as they're doing their muslim thing in a muslim country I have no complaint about them. That said, I do think we have a responsibility to not sit and just watch as good people are victimized by the likes of the Taliban or al Qaeda. If that's the case, then we also have no business in Darfur or Rwanda.

The people who are our allies are the same people who were doing the same despicable things and the reason why the Taliban were looked upon as saviours when they first appeared.
We not only have no right to interfere (as we are a reason why thugs were able to overthrow a legit gov't) we have a duty to allow them to work out their own affairs. We did. No other super-power helped us through our violent history (or else the natives would have their own country now).
If we want to help then there are far more people we can help by sending food and medicine. Hell we might want to just use all the money we are spending over there to help our own people.
Its funny. Bono asks us to simply help a massive humaniarian crisis in SA and we all tell him to go to hell. Those same people jump at the chance to send soldiers though. No. Thats not right.
The same reasons and justifications our side is using to use military force is the same other nations can use to do the same.
No. We aren't responsible for bringing peace to the world and that does include Africa. They themselves have to get beyond their hate. The nations and peoples that can and do decide that to live in peace is what they really want find a way.
Others stick their nose where it doesn't belong. For someone who takes a very dim view when the US gov't meddles in your life you certainly support it when they do it to others.
The US has no buisness in Iraq, Iran, the middle-east or anywhere beyond the same self-defence
that extends to all nations.
Good people being victimized is exactly the reason why we oppose the US invading foreign nations. The fact you may get a few bad guys along with all the good guys is no different then the cops leveling citty blocks because they might get a few criminals as well.
You said it yourself that the entire problem is islam itself. If so then they will work it out themselves and when enough practioners of that religion want to live in peace and are willing to make it happen then they will have peace. Until then they are responsible for their actions and not us.
