Shit like this is why we have a Second Amendment.

Your 2nd amendment has absolutely nothing to do with a Sgian-dubh. The cop needs to shake his head. F*cking wog.

Carrying a knife is also protected under the 2nd Amendment and there's people in this country working hard to protect that aspect of the 2A.

http://www.kniferights.org/

$1:
Oct. 31, 2016: Knife Rights' Oklahoma Knife Law Reform bill, SB 1159, becomes effective November 1st. SB 1159 removes dagger, bowie knife, dirk knife and sword cane from the items prohibited from carry in Oklahoma, and finishes the job Knife Rights began last year with the repeal of the ban on carrying switchblade (automatic) knives and with the passage of Knife Law Preemption in Oklahoma.

A Sgian-dubh is a dirk and carrying one of them is now a protected 2A activity in Oklahoma.

Hey the cop did his job in black and white without using any common sense whatever. Isn't that what you all want? Concealed weapons are illegal here, even in costume.

Unless you're a Sikh.

I was sincerely hoping you could respond differently than our resident 'dumbest fucking racist on the site'. I was going to ignore his post entirely.

A kirpan is a religious object, not a weapon. Ruled by LAW.
Bagpipers are not a religion. Scots are not a race or a religion. The knife is not worn by all Scots and just a tradition. If you're not an enlisted bagpiper, wear a fucking rubber one to keep within the law.

Which neither excuses the cop from being a pigheaded ass, nor posters who just can't make anything but racist comments.

Actually, the sgian-dubh, a "hidden knife" was worn in the top of the sock as a sign of not being afraid when a visitor in someone's home. So it's there to specifically be "non-concealed. When stealing sheep , like horny highlanders were want to do, it was hidden.

Just because it is not mandated by religion does not make it any less culturally significant. I hope this progresses through the court systems.

He will be on a lot thinner ice than somebody who can claim their religion requires it. I hope he loses, but then I would like to revisit the sikh decisions too.
