This idiocy could successfully kill off what's left of the already-suffering North American mall culture. Jeff Bezos and the other online retail giants are probably laughing their asses off right now because for every tranny washroom installed their business will probably shoot up even more courtesy of us evil cissy's who don't want to be around that kind of freakshow while we're shopping. Mall washrooms are bad enough as it is already. Imagine how much more of a horror show they're going to become when some guy at the mall has to take an emergency dump and when he goes into the crapper one of these is standing there waiting for him.

Congrats to the police for arresting those people. That has nothing to do with allowing transgender people to use the bathroom they identify with.

I suppose the solution would be to provide them with a separate washroom but with how insane this society is now I imagine the social left will react like bringing back white and coloured drinking fountains just got suggested. I don't often agree with the social conservatives, mostly because I think they and their religion are a menace to everyone's freedoms, not just for the easy targets like the gays or the feminists. This whole thing with the trannies and the washrooms though is as much an exercise in social engineering as it is in a new legal requirement. It's not enough to provide some kind of equality or equal access for them. The opponents have to be re-educated to love them. That this is pretty much a violation of the basic right of freedom of association, in that you can't be forced by the state or any other institution to associate with anyone you don't like or find morally objectionable, is what seems to be getting lost in all of this.

OMG, talk about a stretch. So someone born a woman but who's had themselves turned into a man goes in a stall in the same washroom as you, and you freak out, but Clifford Olsen taking a whiz at the urinal next to you no problem. And imagine, some dindu, standing right next to you there at the urinal, a dindu fer Gawd's sakes, pissing away like there's no problem, and the state is forcing you to associate with him. It's the Goetterdaemmerung fer sure.

SEATTLE, Washington, February 18, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) - A man twice entered the changing room of a swimming pool and began disrobing, once in front of a young girls' swim team, saying transgender policies gave him the right to do so.
The unidentified man entered Evans pool in Seattle near Green Lake last Monday, February 8, and began taking off his shirt in front of female patrons.
When asked what he was doing, he said, "The law has changed and I have a right to be here."
"Seeing this individual in the locker room, parents of swim team members (girls) and women who had paid for lap swim became alarmed and alerted our front desk staff," said Seattle Parks spokesman David Takami in a statement. "In response, an Evans pool staff member entered the women's locker room and asked the man to leave." They offered both the man and the girls the opportunity to use a family changing room.
He left, only to return during a later youth lap swim, Takami said.
Officials said he had made no attempt to present himself as a woman, nor to identify as transgender when he checked in. By all appearances, he was a man.
But appearances do not matter when it comes to "gender identity." LGBT theorists hold that biological sex is distinct from gender, which is determined solely by the person's mental self-identification.
Takami affirmed, "We have guidelines that allow transgender individuals to use restrooms and locker rooms consistent with their gender identity."
"We want everyone to feel comfortable in our facilities," he said.
Some patrons feel the man, who has yet to be identified, exploited the law to peep at women. "Either identify yourself as a transgender or you're not, and you're just taking advantage of a loophole," MaryAnne Sato, who visits the pool several times a week, told USA Today.
A similar incident occurred in Olympia in 2012, when a 45-year-old biological male who calls himself Colleen Francis lounged naked in a women’s locker room, in an area frequented by girls as young as six. According to the police report an eyewitness stated, “There were girls 6 to 18 years of age and they were not used to seeing individuals in situations like this.” But the facility gave him the right to continue using its facilities as he wished.

Me neither. It's a solution in search of a problem. Fiddle can post his stories from all the right wing blogs he wants but it doesn't change the fact that being a pervert in a bathroom is already illegal.
These bathroom bill laws do nothing extra to protect people from sexual predators but do everything to make the world worse for a minority. And there's the modern right in a nutshell. There must always be a minority group to malign and fear monger over. They've lost the fight against women voting and being people, civil rights for African-Americans, and most recently, same-sex marriage. Now they've found a new target.
