What I've never understood is the tradition of naming every muslim boy 'Muhammad'. Isn't that just as blasphemous as an artistic depiction? If the idea is to not create idols...wouldn't naming every little boy with the name of the prophet be tantamount to creating idols?

   

For clarity:

By naming your child Muhammad you are creating a real-life 'artistic' depiction of Muhammad, are you not?
