It would really help if they knock off all the war threats that they make every couple of months or perhaps China finally get it through the Mighty Midget's skull that they won't back them in a new war.

   

What's with NK... one day they want to nuke the south, next day they want to get in bed with them.

Our resident troll seems to be displaying all the symptoms of a bipolar pygmy with tourettes syndrome.

Maybe the Chinese finally got fed up and gave him a slap up the side of the head for New Years instead of the rice he was expecting.

   

Or maybe he's starting to think taking on the South won't be a cakewalk. The last time they tried, the north was the heavily industrialized nation with the newest toys and the South was an impoverished agrarian society.

Somebody needs to set off a neutron bomb ober what ever whore house he is living in these days. The best thing he could do for his country and the world is to pass beyond the valley of the shadow.

   

Smells like China told Elvis that if the DPRK attacks the South then they're on their own.

Last month in the chat between the US State Department and China's Foreign Ministry on this topic our Treasury Secretary attended. That's unusual. The chatter is that Geithner told China if there was a conflict with China backing the DPRK we'd cancel our outstanding debt that is held by China.

It's the old principle that if you owe the bank $10,000 they own you.

But when you owe them $10,000,000,000,000 you own the bank.

   

I think this fits perfectly. He's always played hot and cold. He's just trying to get attention and as many concessions as he can. Now that he stepped close to the edge, he'll pull back and make nice for a while. Once SK starts acting like an eager puppy who wants to make up after having been beaten, he'll start with the tough talk again. And SK and the west fall for it every time.

   

Well, a great way to improve ties with SK would be to NOT do shit like, sink their naval vessels and lob artillery shells causing casualties.
But hey, that's just me.

   

He's not trying to improve ties - that would lead to pressure for re-unification, the last thing he wants. He's trying to keep him, and his son, in power, plain an simple.

   

   

No, His fortress is a whore house where syohilis is eating up his brain. I keep hoping that one day he will announce that he is giving his people a gret gift by blowing his brains out.

wtf? jong-il and his fat bastard son must have gotten into some good mdma. everything got all ruvy-duvy for about 36 hours.

   

This is the first time NK's had to deal with a SK president who isn't a total pussy, and most of the SK's seem a lot more genuinely pissed off than scared of the North. It's no more complicated than the bully's victim finally stood up and gave the Charlie Manson eyes back to the rotten little prick.
