Maybe America will start making friends in the world now. Not a moment too soon.

There's a lesson for Canadians in this.

McCain was pretty classy conceding defeat the way he did. Kudos to Sen. John McCain.

Yup. None of that dragging the country through recounts and whatnot. Although I must admit this election was nowhere near as close as the 2000 one. :)

anyone else think other world leaders may have trouble believing it?

"so where is this new president?"
"he's right there"
"..behind the black guy?"

It was an interesting race. I'm not terribly surprised, but hey. I'll see what comes of this, and until then, good luck to President elect Obama, and kudos to McCain

That's pretty funny, right there. I want to see Putin's face when he hears.

Or maybe I don't, he may smirk too much. :(

Indeed. I thought that was an excellent concession speech. :)

Although I think a fair bit of his supporters won't do as he tells them to... XD

I wonder if his buddy Biden has a nice job lined up for him now. Could you imagine it appointing him Sec of Def.

There's not a country in the world that didn't want to see Obama as president, except Georgia.

Why should they? look what the liberal kooks did to Bush. Cant wait to see if he can keep his promises.

But as Americans we must give him the chance to prove himself. IAM THE FRIST TO SAY HE IS MY NEW PRESIDENT!
